At last! Proms done! Our JS PROM was held at Holiday Inn. I ain't nothin' to say about here except justine became Mr. Senior, monicah became Ms. Senior, eajay became Prom King and danicah became Prom Queen and of course how could I forget my participation at the "Last Will" it was kind of unforgettable for me not just because I participated there but of course I was WITH the consistent TOP 10 HONORS. Isn't that amazing and lofty-feeling? ahaha!
At last! We've already finished our General Practice of the JS PROM & it will be held tomorrow (fri. Feb 20) at Holiday Inn Hotel. Yesterday, was a bit of tiring because of non-stop rehearsals. Anyway, I hope our prom will be an enormous success.
For the preparation of the prom, I'll wear a black Americana, purple long sleeves, black and purplish pink necktie, black shoes with a semi-point tip and a light blue contact lenses.
I actually don't wear my light blue contact lenses. Because the color and ambiance of it, is kind of elegant and special. It was given to me by Mark (classmate) in our Christmas' exchange of gifts.
Anyway, I bought a new Americana cos' my parents want me to and it costs 850 riyals. Though I can use again what I wore last prom. The neck tie costs 63 riyals and the shoes was 275 I think.

Friday the 13th: is it Real?
Another Friday the 13th came! Many superstition beliefs that this day is a bad luck for all of us.But the really strange thing is that most of the people who believe the day is unlucky offer no explanation at all, logical or illogical. As with most superstitions, people fear Friday the 13th for its own sake, without any need for background information.
The fear of Friday the 13th is called paraskavedekatriaphobia, a word derived from the concatenation of the Greek words Paraskeví (Παρασκευή) (meaning Friday), and dekatreís (δεκατρείς) (meaning thirteen), attached to phobía (φοβία) (meaning fear). This is a specialized form of triskaidekaphobia, a simple phobia (fear) of the number thirteen, and is also known as friggatriskaidekaphobia. The term triskaidekaphobia was derived in 1911 and first appeared in a mainstream source in 1953.
The fear of Friday the 13th stems from two separate fears -- the fear of the number 13 and the fear of Fridays. Both fears have deep roots in Western culture, most notably in Christian theology.
Thirteen is significant to Christians because it is the number of people who were present at the Last Supper (Jesus and his 12 apostles). Judas, the apostle who betrayed Jesus, was the 13th member of the party to arrive.
According to folklorists, there is no written evidence for a "Friday the 13th" superstition before the 19th century.[4][5][6] The earliest known documented reference in English occurs in an 1869 biography of Gioachino Rossini:
[Rossini] was surrounded to the last by admiring and affectionate friends; and if it be true that, like so many other Italians, he regarded Friday as an unlucky day, and thirteen as an unlucky number, it is remarkable that on Friday, the 13th of November, he died.
However, some folklore is passed on through oral traditions. In addition, "determining the origins of superstitions is an inexact science, at best. In fact, it's mostly guesswork." Consequently, several theories have been proposed about the origin of the Friday the 13th superstition.
Cinnamon Mary Jane
Cinnamon Mary Jane (CMJ) is the title of the song that aldrine, popularly known in youtube as ukuleleoversoul, composed. He's purely Filipino and was born in Caloocan City, Philippines but currently resides in Hawaii.
I found the link (click here!) when my classmate and co-blogger (kevin) shared it in his status in ym. I clicked it and when I waited to finish the buffer, I listened to his composition (CMJ) and I was totally amazed!
It's difficult for me to fall in love with a song in just a sec. But undeniably, I do fell in love with the song and how he play and tap the guitar. The tapping/chunk really do adds passion in it.
The CAT's Hell Month is an annual tradition of the CAT Organization in where the trainees or the so called "dumbguards" have to wear different costumes in one month (February) and they have to follow orders from the CAT Officers like counting the tiles on the building etc.
The first day was kind of boring because it's also a tradition that the first day of Hell Month, the dumbguards should wear completed school uniform while the rest of the students are wearing civilian.
Then the second day, which was undoubtedly hilarious, the Alpha Company (boys) wore a gayish outfit and for the Bravo Company (girls) wore a terrorist outfit. The amazing part is, some of the Alpha were wearing HIGH HILLS!
After the checking of attendance and picture taking, we let them walk at our gymnasium and act like fashion models! (Alpha)

MEDEA's party | photoshoot (late post)
The MEDEA Tanghalang Pilipino (where I was also a member) held a get-together-party for the success of their previous plays and at the same time pictorial for our banner. We're going to act onstage on March 5 (I think) in our school. We have 3 plays, "Ang Bagong Papa ni Mommy" (directed by Romeo Tampol), "Ang Bastos" (directed by Dennis Obsipo) & "Gabun" (directed by Dennis Obsipo).
The First one is a full-comedy play, where I play the role of Paeng. The second is a semi-comedy which have a setting of a early times and the third one is a full-drama play.
